I’m sure there are diabetics out there looking for some good sugar free cupcakes. Well, look no further.
Tastykake is the brandname of a line of snack foods manufactured by the Tasty Baking Company. They are headquartered in the Navy Yard Corporate Center in Philadelphia, PA. The company was established 1914 and originally sold its’ product only in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. Today the company distributes its’ products in several states on the East Coast and has been gradually expanding across the United States. (lucky for the rest of the country)
Being from the mid-atlantic states, Tastykake is a name I have known all my life. For diabetics who are not familiar with the company, they will soon be your favorite, especially if you have a sweet tooth and can no longer satisfy it due to diabetes. Yes, they offer sugar free cupcakes. For those of you not familiar with the company, you too will learn the jingle, “Nobody bakes a cake as tasty as a Tastykake”.
Ok, here is the line up. Sugar Free Cream Filled Cupcakes - Koffee Kake (my personal favorite), Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Finger Cake, Sugar Free Chocolate Chocolate Chip Finger Cakes, Sugar Free Cream Filled Chocolate Cupcakes, Sugar Free Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars and Sugar Free Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars. Are you kidding me!? What a line up! (all we now is some pitching)
Now look, all of us diabetics know that sugar free cupcakes are not regular cupcakes and trust me, I ate Tastykakes all my life, so I know. My personal favorite was always Butterscotch Krimpets. Second choice was chocolate. Nevertheless, Tastykake makes a very fine sugar free cupcake and sugar free cookie bar. In fact, I have had all of the cupcakes in their sugar free cupcake line. They’re all good. I mean, how many places have you been able to find a crème filled sugar free cupcake. Not only does Tastykake make one crème filled sugar free cupcake, but two sugar free crème filled cupcakes.
You diabetics out there who found this article because you were looking for sugar free cupcakes might have a partner looking for something they can get from Tastykake with you, but not sugar free. Let me tell you, any of them, all of them, they are all good. Wish I could eat one right now. Seriously, not only does Tastykake have sugar free cupcakes and regular cupcakes, they also make some great Tastykake Pies. Oh wow a Tastykake Lemon Pie. Why did I even mention it.
No, I don’t own stock in the company, I’m just a guy who grew up with Tastykakes. And until I contracted diabetes I didn’t even realize they made sugar free cupcakes. I’m so happy they do. All of us diabetics can count ourselves lucky to have such good cupcakes like the sugar free koffee kakes crème filled, sugar free chocolate cupcakes that are crème filled and all the rest. You can find them on line or if you live where they are available, good for you.
